Students of the Development Economics Study Program at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta actively contribute to academic development through various scientific publications at both national and international levels. These publications include articles in reputable journals, conference proceedings, and scientific papers produced as part of academic and research activities.
Student publications are generally developed through research-based learning, collaborative projects with faculty members, and participation in research programs such as Student Creativity Programs (PKM) and other competitive grants. Through these activities, students are trained to apply theoretical knowledge into empirical research, strengthen analytical skills, and produce evidence-based findings relevant to development issues.
The topics of student publications cover a wide range of areas in development economics, including public policy, regional development, poverty and inequality, digital economy, financial inclusion, and sustainable development. This diversity reflects the program’s commitment to fostering critical thinking, research capacity, and academic writing skills among students.
Through continuous engagement in scientific publication, students are expected to enhance their academic competitiveness, expand their scholarly experience, and contribute to the dissemination of economic knowledge for the benefit of society.
