Curriculum 2024

The Bachelor of Development Economics (EP) program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, implements the Curriculum 2024 as the primary framework for delivering teaching and learning within the undergraduate program. This curriculum is designed comprehensively and progressively, comprising a total of 144 credit points, covering university-level compulsory modules, program-specific compulsory modules, elective modules, and the final project, spread across Semesters 1 to 8 and the intersemester period. The curriculum structure emphasizes strengthening the foundations of micro- and macroeconomics, development analysis, economic policy, methodology, and econometrics, as well as the development of applied competencies through field studies, practicals, entrepreneurship, and thematic elective courses such as digital economics, creative economy, development planning, and internships. With a systematic prerequisite design focused on graduate learning outcomes, the 2024 Curriculum is expected to produce Development Economics graduates who are adaptable, analytical, and relevant to national development needs and contemporary economic dynamics.
